COVID 19 UPDATE We will now be open from 4 July ensuring that the Government guidance on Covid 19 safety is implemented to the best of our ability. A Risk assessment has been completed. Things will be very different with one way systems, alternative access and exit points and reduced capacity to ensure social distancing, and provision of sanitation stations. Suitable ventilation will be provided indoors when required. Furniture both indoors and in the beer garden has been moved to facilitate social distancing. Maximum capacity will be 100 indoors and 50 people in the beer garden. As such we will initially be restricting access to members only (Sorry but no guests or children). We will review this regularly and advise of any changes. All members attending will be required to register attendance on entry, in line with Government Regulations. No live entertainment will be permitted and all other music/sound must be kept to a medium or below level. No standing will be permitted at the bar. Tables will be limited to 4 people only with social distancing being adhered to. It will not be permitted to move furniture. We will not be able to initially provide any facility to play pool, snooker or any other traditional pub games (apart from darts – see below), or to provide bingo. The Club Lottery and Meat Draw will not take place until further notice. Darts will be permitted but will be limited to 2 players per board who must adhere to social distancing. We will not be providing sandwiches or the confectionary machine. Crisps and nuts etc. will be available to purchase at the bar. The Function room will remain closed so any activities/functions that are booked will need to be cancelled until such time as further easing of the lockdown is announced by the Government. Memberships will continue to be rolled over for several more months so any 2019-20 memberships will remain valid. We will advise in due course as to when we can offer membership renewal. We look forward to welcoming you back but must request that everybody maintains social distancing at all times and respects other customer’s safety. Although we must adhere to a number of changes I am sure that we can offer a welcoming place to socialise. Opening hours will be reduced initially but we will continually review this and advise of any changes. Friday/Saturday/Sunday 12 noon to 23:00 Monday to Thursday 14:00 to 22:00
